Pit Bull Food Alergies - Need suggestions

Our dog likes ice cubes also - it must be a bulldog thing. You can get limited ingredient treats at some pet stores. Something that says all natural or along that lines means nothing. You just have to read the ingredient list. Our dog is just as happy with carrots or watermelon as a treat...

Pit Bull Food Alergies - Need suggestions

We've got an English Bulldog also. She's been on Vet's Choice Holistic Health Extension Original since she was a puppy (1 & 1/2 years) with no problems. We've been lucky so far with no allergy problems. I still stay away from anything with by-products, wheat, corn or soy in it as a...

Smoking a prime rib for Christmas

Prime Rib is not really a low and slow cut of meat. You're basically trying to roast it in the smoker at around 325-350 like you would in the oven. I foil the waterpan, but don't put any water in it. You aren't looking for moisture or temperature control from the waterpan. You just want it...

    Sheesh, figures!

I've had it for almost 2 weeks now. Just when you start feeling better it comes back. The tiredness is the worst part at this point.

    Consistancy = $?

Price doesn't necessarily predict quality except maybe in the ultra low end of the spectrum. Those are all likely to suck. One of the more reasonably priced, consistent cigars out there IMO is 5 Vegas Series A's. Over on cigarbid you can pick them up on the cheap, they taste good, and you...

    100,000 Cuban Cigars Confiscated!

I heard that any package over 16 oz is not allowed to be shipped on a passanger plane. Packages are going on cargo planes now so it's easier for customs to spot them. Kind of like fishing out of your bath tub. This could drive some vendors out of business, or at least make them rethink their...

What's your best cigar this year?

It's a toss up between a BBF or a Dip #2. They just hit the spot to me when I smoked them for some reason.

Those who love Mag46 also really enjoy....

Nice list there. I got a CAB of PLPC's without having tried one based on the reviews. Most of the reviews were right on with carmel, nutmeg spice and floral notes. I'm pleased and the price point on these is quite good as well as long as the consistancy holds up. The SCdlH El Principe is a...

    Today's Smoke II

R&J Short Churchill. I've had these about a year (don't know the box code or date), but this is one Cuban I think a prefer on the younger side. They have more prounced flavors when younger to me at least.

    Need help with beetles

Only beetle problem I've had was with a cuban R&J Exchibition #3, and that was about 8 years ago. I don't see why you couldn't wipe down your travel case to clean off any dust or live beetles and then throw it in the freezer for good measure.

    My first CC!

For a while I was like that also. I figured the smaller cigars weren't "real" cigars. Lately I've been enjoying the smaller cigars more that the larger ones. The fact that they're cheaper is an added bonus. You generally do get more intense flavors from the smaller cigars than their larger...
