I just got back last week, and threw some blog posts up.  I thought you guys might be interested in the P2P trips.  More to come.  Later in the week I visited a cigar factory, and tobacco farm.  I should get those days posted soon.  Since I was on an educational tour, I did a lot that the normal tourist probably doesn't get to do.  Hope you find the write up and pictures interesting.

Nice, looks like you had a great time. I would've liked to see more pictures of the cigars you smoked there.

Wow.  I read all the posts and it seems you're having an incredible time, I'm envious.  I think listening to Buena Vista Social Club, really put it over the top as well.  Keep the updates coming, I'm looking forward to them.

I think I would have enjoyed talking to the Seniors as well.  I love hearing stories from their past and I can only imagine the Cubans stories, of years gone by.

Thanks for the feedback.  The senior were so interesting, and so passionate.  I've got day 4th up now, and I'm working on the rest.  Might get another post up tomorrow.  Thanks again!

Really nice pictures, the food looks delicious. That story you spoke of about the woman waiting for her lover reminded of a song about the exact same thing, I wonder if the song is related to this, the name of the song is "Maná - En el muelle de San Blás"

Those classic cars are freaking awesome. They keep them in pristine condition.

Thanks guys!  Whylie, I'll have to check out the song.

Day 5 is up!  Cigar factory, tobacco farm, La Floridita and papa dobles, cigars, and a jazz club.  I won't be able to get any more updates up until after the long weekend.  Have a good one, and smoke one for me.

Same here. Thanks for posting these and I'd have to admit that I'm a bit jealous. Don't know if I would be able to stick to the tour though if I did it.  ;)

I was enjoying a Bolivar I got from Light this! (as it happens, the last poster on this thread), and I was thinking about my trip to Cuba, and how things seem to be changing between Cuba and the US.  I was thinking about how lucky I was to get down there before things change a lot.  Then I was thinking about how its still not too late.  I thought I'd bump my old thread to motivate some of y'all to get down there before the embargo ends and McDonalds moves in.

Love the blog, only on day 2, nice looking Monte, best photo so far: Princess Fussybottom on the King Size bed at the Ritz (not Cuba), can't wait to get to the rest... (of the Cuba trip that is...)
