After a seemingly endless run of bad luck over the past month, I bring my wife home from the hospital this afternoon to find my mailbox in ruins, severely shaken neighbors, and a selection of cigars that would shame my local B&M!! :love:
I'm sitting here trying to come up with something witty or smart-assed to say to you guys, and as a "professional talking head" that, generally, isn't a problem, but your generosity has truly overwhelmed me.
The report from the doctor on my wife is good news, he said I'll be "stuck" with her for a good long time, as all of her tests came back great. Personally, my eye is on the mend, and should be back to normal in another 6 - 8 weeks. As there was only one person on this board who knew of my situation, I know who to blame, Tim!!
Matt Burtchaell, Robert Omecene, Jonas Thomas, Bruce Thomas, and Dennis Hawk (I apologize, but I don't know all of your screen names) you guys truly brightened my day, and are some great BOTL's!!
However, I must disagree with the message that was included with the smokes: :angry:
"You are the unlucky victim of our 2007 Cluster Bomb. Retaliation is futile so do not even try. Warn the others, there will be more."
"You are the unlucky victim of our 2007 Cluster Bomb." - I think I am very lucky in that BOTL's I have never met took the time to send me great smokes to help me over one of those hurdles that life throws you.
"Retaliation is futile so do not even try." - We'll see!! :whistling:
"Warn the others, there will be more." - Consider it done!! Be afraid of these gentlemen, be very afraid!!
