The last 20 Super Bowls have produced the following:

9 - 5 times
8 - 1 time
7 - 7 times
6 - 3 times
5 - 2 times
4 - 5 times
3 - 2 times
2 - 3 times
1 - 5 times
0 - 7 times

Worst number to have is 8. Best numbers are the obvious 0 and 7. Think Beach Boys,

"Wouldn't it be nice to be BFreebern,
then we wouldn't have to wait so long,
most of those Opus are from this year,
but they're so many you can't go wrong..."

OK color me confused. How do the single #'s correlate against assigned AFC/NFC numbers for the 4 quarter payout? ( I have AFC 7 NFC 8 ) I apologize if I am dense on this but I just don't get what your #'s mean.

btw...part of my problem could be I am a mental midget at times with math.

For you, it would show that in the past 20 Super Bowls only one team has ever finished with an 8. So the statistical likelihood of you winning the 4th quarter pool is not high.
 
In case I'm not the only mental midget who got confused about AFC/NFC numbers:

When looking at your numbers (left to right) the first number is AFC and the second number is NFC. At first glance I assumed it was the opposite as the NFC numbers are on the left side of the grid and the AFC is on top.
 
Loutam.....These numbers refer to the last digit of the score. For instance: 8 pays out on 8, 18, 28......If the final score would be NFC 28- AFC 17, you would win the big one!

...But me and you might as well sit in a corner somewhere and get drunk. (Me=AFC-8, NFC-7). We are the bald-headed step children of the pool. We should invite whoever has 8-8 to join us...

C'mon Gar...yee of little faith. ( However my other # is AFC 9 NFC 1 Mmmm 21-9 Halftime score )

I think I will sacrifice some virgin smokes to appease the Fuente Gods. As Carl S said " At least I have that going for me " :thumbs:
