I was just over my friend's house and he asked if I could look at his cigars. He told me that he got some Cohiba's Siglos VI's. I was like sure let me take a look; the whole time Im thinking that he is going to hook me up with a few. He pulls out his humidor and opens the box. I was like what the f*cK. I just wanted to cry. All of them dried out and hard as a rock. He asked me if I could get them back to smoking condition. I know the flavor is already pulled out and it will take long caring months to get any type of softness back. I took them anyway because I didn't want to know that cigar abuse was happening and I did nothing about it. I know have them in my humidor in a couple of days I will transfer them to a zip lock and prey for the best. We shall see...

If he didn't know enough to store them properly he probably didn't know enough to spot a fake. I would defiantly question there authenticity.
 
I was thinking the same thing. The box he gave me is clean with no serial number no two-letter prefixes on the warranty seals. What you guys think?
 
I just got off the phone with him... He said that he got the box 8 months ago. It did have the serial number two-letter prefixes on the warranty seals. He said the label came off :laugh: :laugh: this guy has more stories and he is never wrong. Even though he dried out his cigars and doesn't even know how to cut them. The best part he paid 425 for the box. You have to love know it all's
 
Maybe you can deband them and sell them back to him as "special air dried Cohibas". I would only charge him $325 this time. :sign:
