$4.00 a gallon

It will get above $4/gal and stay there for a little while. My sources say there were some pipeline damages that will take 60-90 days to fix and until then there will be shortages (for those of you that don't know gas is distributed through a network of underground pipelines to local DC's where they're trucked to stations). The guys I'm building a plant for now can only get about half the diesel they need for their trucks... Maybe I should buy a diesel and start making biodiesel in my garage. Personally, I think the price will rise and stay there as long as demand doesn't decline...
 
$3.01 here in Chicago. I thought we were always the highest in the country? To Atuck: I respect your reason for driving your big ass auto to keep your family safe, but you know my 1999 Little Subaru got the best crash test rating for the year, bigger is not always safer. And that bike of yours deffinately ain't safe, but good on gas.

I don't know where they were filming that, but as I was coming home tonight, I didn't see anything above $2.89 for regular UL and many places had already run out at that price.

These !@#$%^& local radio stations were scaring everyone in ATL all day saying there were going to be shortages, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy all for the sake of boosting ratings! News spread in the early evening that supplies would not be interrupted, but the soccer moms were already out waiting in line to fill up their goddamned vehicles above 3/4 of a tank so they could still get to the end of the cul-de-sac to tennis practice tomorrow.

$2.80 a gallon in Boston Mass.

Local gas station said his pumps can only charge up to $3.00 a gallon !

He is going to have to fix it buy charging 1/2 price on the pump and then muliply by 2 at the end to get the price.

Drove back from Carolina Beach NC to Alpharetta GA today.
Saw unleaded regular ranging from $2.59 to $3.04.
There was a news item tonite with some gouger in Atlanta wanting $5.87 for regular... claiming supply & demand!!! JERK!

Wow! I was just watching the news this morning, and I saw gas for $6.00/gallon!! :0 :0 I seriously hope some of these guys get in trouble with the law for price gouging. :angry2:
 
Cripes!! I paid $2.89 on monday morning.
That was before the prices go up
There is a price cap that has been put in effect here
so I can expect .25 over CA prices :angry:

I used to be from Ithaca, I grew up near there, and went to to college there. I got into IC, so I decided against Cornell! :D and still get back there often. Keep me posted on the herf plans!

Just saw price jump last night at my local Gas station from $2.68 to $3.32 this morning.

And they didn't even buy me diner. :angry2:
 
I saw on the news last night that there are some gas stations in the Washington DC area charging $3.69 a gallon for regular grade gas.

Edited: sorry I over stated by 20 cents a gallon. Still too F**king high...
 
I filled up this morning at $2.57. By the time my mom got to the station two hours later it had gone up to $2.77. An hour later as she drove by again it was at $2.89 :0
