5 year old Padron 3000

damn, I didn't know these had dates... I just found my box of londres and jammed in the side is a little piece of paper that says Nov 22, 2004, very cool.

Apparently you are neglectful, leaving them alone for 5 years. As punishment, they should be sent to me for proper care.

Congratulations for being able to wait 5 years. I don’t have the patience or space, yet!!!

So cool! Jabba just told me about the dates, I checked my boxes and sure enough slips of paper in there with the name of the roller and the date it was rolled!

Sounds like you are irritated with that box :whistling:
Do you want to sell it or part of it? ???

Brian

Ummmmmmmmmm........ No! :D

I use to smoke these regularly but can't honestly say when I last smoked one. I suppose I'll have to go buy a fresh one so I can give it an honest comparison..... or not. They've waited this long... whats another year or two. ;)

Congrats on the 6 year anniversary, you've got incredible will power. By the way, this picture made me lose about a gallon of drool. At the risk of thread jacking, would you mind posting a pic of your entire collection to give us newbs something to aim for?

Sorry, no offense.

Six years old now. :)

have you smoked one of those gems yet?

Not yet..... thinking about it. With that said, I was also thinking about it last year when I first posted this thread. LOL :sign: I have to admit that my curiousity is getting the best of me.

Edited to remove my replies from the quotes.

I bought a box of Maduro Padron 3000 in early 2001. I still have this box sitting in my humidor. Since the tobacco is now 5+ years old does this make them Annivesario's without the serial numbers? :whistling:

It makes 'em close, anyway. The blend is slightly different, and the quality of tobacco is of a higher grade for the 1964 line... so it isn't just a matter of age. But some aged regular line Padróns I've had have tasted pretty damned good, and would be hard to tell from a 1964 unless you were a very skilled taster.
