Yes. How about opening firing at certain times? You can fire between 6 am and 6 pm, and you can fire again between 6 pm and 6 am. Just an idea.

This thing was scheduled to outlast the recession. Spivy changed it to fire away once a day. Starting Monday, it's twice a day. Probably within certain times, so you're not just blasting 10 at once.
