Fuggin me. The system crashed and they only ended up selling a few hundred tickets. They are "addressing" the issue and plan to put them back up sometime soon. Talk about a cluster.
Is there any chance they are going to compensate me for half a day wasted? Talk about a PR nightmare. It's bad enough that those of us who live here and want to see "our" team in the series have to get in line with every scalper in the country, but total system failure just makes it worse.

Heard in the news that their server got hit with a DDOS attack (denial of service). Must have been a disgruntled fan..... :laugh: They said they were "taking measures" to prevent such interference from happening today.
I think I know now why folks are so preoccupied with "hits". They're pretty much meaningless as far as how many heads are passing through the site. The Rockies organization is crying foul, that a hacker brought the server down with a DoS attack. I think they were just overwhelmed by the volume. However, they learned fromt he mistake and had a viable platform up long enough to sell out. There are a multitude of sob stories of "right after I put in my cc info, it kicked me out" stories. Talk about a serious crap shoot!
I am pissed at the way the front office managed this, and the Rockies org has lost any chance they had at turning me from a Braves fan to a Rockies fan. I dd not expect to get tickets, but I also didnt expect to go through 30 hours of bullshit. I will root for the Rockies in the WS, but they will not be getting the business I was planning on giving them before this headache.
