I thought about that. I closed up the humi last night and it is sittin about 74 degrees and 70 percent humidity. The AC guy is working as I write. Shouldn't be a problem.

or, send me your stash, it is well over 80 degrees here, but I am sure I could think of something to do with your smokes :whistling:

but really........send them to me...... :D :sign: :D

hope it all works out Bro

Well Shane,

Hope you're back online by now. If not, those smokes are goners for sure. Better send... :sign:

Just hoping your smokes are ok and you're feeling a little cooler and dryer.

My AC went out about 2 weeks ago. With all the heat, the unit was coming on and off more often than usual, and it fried the capacitor. I'd check that first, it was only about 100 bucks to fix. AC guys can rake you over the coals.

Shane, if it happens to you again and you have a basement, stick your humis down there as I'm sure it's got to be cooler than 77 degrees........ :)

They sit in the basement all the time, it stays 65/65 most of the time down there, It got up to 77, due to the fact that I had the whole house fan on trying to pull up cool air from the basement.

A friend set up me with a guy who showed up at 7pm. It ended up being a small hole in the freon line. He patched it up and said it might last 3 hrs, might last 3 yrs. His main concern was that the unit had been running with no freon, which also acts like oil for the compressor, keeping it lubricated. It cooled the house down in about 8 hrs. So far so good.

The whole time I am thinking geeze this guy it gonna hit me hard with it being so late and what not. So the question came around "What do I owe ya" He starts talking about parts, feon and so on. He says $195. I ask if he takes cash he says yup make it $185!!!! I handed him 200 and told him to get a 12 pack on me. I could have done a cartwheel. I was thinking 3-400.

Suffice to say all is cool at the house.

Glad to know so many are willing to take my stash off my hands.

Please excuse me for just one moment......

I'm glad your house is getting cooled off!!! My room down at school (where I am now) is in the attic, so naturally its about 80+ in here, but I purchased a massive portable A/C Unit and put my collection right next to it. Thank god for that thing. Im glad your stash is okay :)-damn its magical!
