paid almost $50 dllars for gas for the crown vick, $2.93 9/10 for a gallon, why are they still putting up the 9/10 with today's prices, when gas was $.35 i can understand, but now ,PLEASE, CUT THE BALONEY! RANT OVER. :angry2:

I haven't paid for fuel in 3 yrs for my Toyota Highlander, I am FORTUNATE to have a company gas card (cost 48 bucks to fill). I have to pay for gas when i go on vacation and on weekends, but I will never biatch about that. :thumbs:

While I was driving back to California last week, I paid $94.50 to fill up my Yukon XLT @ $2.99 a gallon.

Back here it's still costing me roughly $75-80 bucks.

Costco... Paid 35 to fill up my Jetta VR6... I didnt know this, but the price of gas varies even between different Costcos in LA.

That is just for emergencies, though I did hear he is considering releasing some to help the companies operating in the hurricane path.

I guess you can say right now we are paying the price of being Americans. If you have been on the interstates, it is laughable the amount people driving huge autos and being the only occupant in the vehicle.

Consumers are finally are stepping away from the selfish reasons of buying autos and considering more reasonable ones. IMHO the government should stepped in years ago and taxed the living hell out of large autos that were not used for commercial purposes. We are way too damn reliant on petroleum for other uses to waste so much on our huge ass autos.

I couldn't agree more. Funny about people complaining about gas prices when they drive huge SUV's. You didn't know they are bad on gas and that gas prices go up?

The strategic reserves are just a drop in the bucket. There may be a short term decrease in prices but in the long term there will be little impact. Our problem is a problem with refining capacities being maxed out at 98% and no new refineries coming on line or even being built.
