I found out today that one of my high school buddies lost his son in Iraq. I saw his father one month ago when he came to visit me to ask what Iraq was like since his son was going there. His son graduated college and wanted to join the Army. Everyone thought he was crazy to join and tried to talk him out of it. He felt he had to do it because someone needed to and his blood was not more sacred than anybody elses. He was a big brown eyed kid who always had a smile. He became a combat medic in the 10th Mountain Division. There is really not much else to say except that the cost of freedom is dear. SPC Jonathan Cadavero *********** Final Goodbyes

G-d bless the combat medics.
