So yesterday (7/7/07), my wife and I had a 3D ultrasound for our second child, Katelyn. If you parent's ever have the opportunity to do it, I highly recommend it. It's truly an amazing experience to peer inside the womb and SEE your child before they come out.

We did it with our first daughter as well, and it's amazing how the ultrasound captures the realism and features of your child long before your hands will ever hold them.

So this is just a proud daddy expressing pride and amazement at seeing his second daughter for the first time. Here are a couple of the pics from the ultrasound. In the second pic, you can actually see her smiling:

Man the quality of these things has improved dramatically since we had them for our kids.

Those pictures are great. Congratulations on your upcoming addition.

One of the guys I work with and his wife went through several appointments with an ultrasound like this and were never able to get a clear picture. The baby wasn't positioned right for anything to work out. I'm glad yours came out so well. :)

Congratulations! I'm not sure if i would want to use ultrasound just to see my child, but then i'm not having anymore kids at my age. Best of luck with your child and also your wife. :thumbs:

Congratulations! Those pictures are breathtaking, I had never seen an ultrasound with such detail. Congrats again :thumbs:
 
COngrats man! My wife is pregnant with Twins, which is considered a high risk pregnancy so we've gotten quite a few done. Its some really cool stuff!!!

How far along is she in these pics?

Nevermind, I see on the photo. You guys are about 1 week ahead of us.

My wife and I just went in for our 20 wk 3D ultrasound as well. The pics are really exciting. My doctor even gave us 3 different picture color options (red, white and blue) to celebrate the 4th of July :laugh:
 
Thanks for all the congratulations! She will be born on September 25th (barring any unforeseen circumstances), and I'll be sure to have a couple of contests to give away some sticks around that time.
