I just wanted to pass along a quick story about one of the nicest gestures that anyone has ever made to me [anywhere]. About 2 weeks ago I posted a note inquiring about Don Pepin cigars. I was not familiar with them, never had them and was trying to get some feedback from the boards. I received numerous replies but then got a PM from a member, someone that I had NEVER spoken with before. His screen name is jcritt :laugh: and he offered to "spread the flavor" of these cigars with me. He said that he would send me some Pepin sticks to try. I replied that this is not necessary but greatly appreciated.
Well, not only did he keep his word he surpassed it by leaps and bounds. I received a box in the mail today and not only did it contain two Pepin sticks but 8 other ciagrs as well. All top of the line and all great sticks :thumbs: Without a doubt this was one of the nicest gestures that has happened to me in a very long time. You see, I was laid off from my job about 3 months ago so money has been very tight and I cannot afford to spend money on cigars when the mortgage is due at the beginning of every month :angry: This man took the time and noticed my situation and went totally out of his way to send me the equivalent to a half box of cigars, cigars that are easily worth $85-125 MSRP. I was absolutely blown away.
I thought that a general PM thanks you to him was not enough and that a big public thank you was necessary. So jcritt this is my public thank you. When this nightmare is over, even though you stated to me that it is not required, I will indeed send you some of my favs as a show of appreciation for your uber kind gesture. :sign:

I personally think the White label JJ is the best but tastes differ. The Blue label is not as complex but stronger. The CI Legend is a good cigar but not great. The Tatuaje will put hair on your teeth when it comes to strength. The Padila Achilles as I stated before is my least favorite of the bunch. As for the rest of them.......I just looked in your profile and saw I had a bunch of the ones you listed and thought you would enjoy them. :thumbs:
