Aging Padron Premium Smokes....?

Well, I was going to chime in about Humidity, but Dark Star beat me to it. If you agree with the school of thought that essential oils start to evaporate at 68% and lower, then it stands to reason that aging at 65% vice 69%+ could produce differant results. In addition, are we aging to produce a specific result, be that mellowing, rounding or are we trying to preserve the "fresh" flavor profile.

in the case of Padrons, I want to preserve.

Great thread B.B.S, got me to thinking and doing a little rummaging inside my cooledor. I have quite a few PAM and PAN which have the single band.Does anyone know when Padron started using the doulbe band so I can have some clue as to the age of these smokes? It would be fun to smoke a aged one and a current one back to back.
