I finally popped the cork on a bottle of this last night, and I must say it was truly delicious! It had a wonderful nose of floral notes, the finish was fruity, crisp, and a mile long on it. Very light in the mouth, full flavored, smooth and very drinkable!
I've had the Tripel Reserve before, and I didn't like it as much as I liked this. I thought the Tripel had too much of a alcohol taste to it, and the hops bite was too much for a Belgian style ale. Granted, this is my opinion, but I would have to say that the Dubble has become a new favorite of mine. Great stuff!
