allowances per month or year?

Around $3500 per month. But sometimes I'll bend the rules if there are a couple special items that I see and want.

Reminds me of a quote by the late Tug McGraw, former Phillies relief pitcher, who when asked what he would do with his World Series bonus in 1980, said "Ninety percent I'll spend on good times, women and Irish Whiskey. The other ten percent I'll probably waste."
 
The more I think about it, alot of folks here probably don't know me well enough to know that I was joking in my post above. The number I used is quite absurd, but maybe not beyond possible.

I'm not sure "budget" would have accomplished a different result.

Our individual cigar buying preferences are just that...ours.

What I spend on cigars per month shouldn't mean anything to you. I'm not trying to be rude.

What is to be accomplished by learning what I spend? What if I spend twice your monthly salary on cigars each month? What if it's 1% of your take home salary on a monthly basis?

My point is that you cannot glean anything from this, so I'd rather not share this information.
 
Was just a question to have soo many people get upset about it was rather interesting.Also by reading the forums here most people talk about the cigars they smoke and was just curious as to where they buy them,and how much they are in other areas.So in order to ask a question in this forum something has to gleaned from the question?Was very similar to asking what is your favorite movie or cigar or drink.
 
On a side note, $50 or more for a God of Fire is way too much. You should be able to get them all day long for $25ish
 
Do you ask your friends how much they get paid? If you do, do they tell you? This is the same and if you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you.

If I post a question, my intention is learn from the members of this forum. So yes, I look to glean information from any question that I ask. In other matters, the space bar is underneath a series of letters beginning with "c" and ending with "m" (at least that's the setup on my laptop).
 
No I understand what you guys are saying.The response that Gonz gave was what I was looking for guess I should have clarified more in regards to particular cigars and should have stated specific cigars.
