I am perhaps the largest Diablo fan... BlizzCon... I think the past 2 yrs everyone has been hoping they'll talk about D3... Well, they did go through the cycle, and what with SCII announced already, it would seem like it is Diablo's turn up to bat. It will be interesting to see, given that most of the D2 squad has either quit or moved on to Too Human and Hell Gate: London. We will see!

Hell I still have 1 + Hellfire and 2 + LoD installed after all these years... don't play them as much but everyonce in a while I have to run through and slaughter monsters. Its good for the soul

I spent waaaay too much time on D2. And WoW. But then my life changed, got divorced and remarried...and really find no time for gaming anymore. I tryed to get back into it with Hellgate London but it doesn't hold my attention like d2 could/would.

And the carpal tunnel symptoms I have from d2...well i can't really play it anymore. Might be fun to try a D3 though....maybe i'm too damn old lol.

I'm one of the seven people on the planet that slid right under the whole Diablo thing, though both my boys played the heck out of it. Just may have to give D3 a go; the gameplay footage looks pretty darn cool.

I too was addicted to d1 and d2. This is going to consume a hundred hours of my life and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

I have read nothing about d3....will it be pay to play? Or kinda like hellgate london which you could play for free but had to pay for some certain content?

The big draw for me in d2 was that you could play for free, make damn near as many accounts/characters that you could want, and the content was somewhat predictable. Now I know some will complain about that last part...but seriously...tell me you never had fun turboing up that 15th different sorceress so you could find the perfect build...with the gear all in the waiting. That and farming for drops. Best parts of that game imo.

I just hope my hand can hold out if it is anywhere near as good as d2 was. Blizzard for some reason...can make a hell of a game.
