PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
Fav. Players: Hextall, Niittymaki, Esche, Snow
Hated teams: Devils, Rangers, Senators
Hated Players: Havlat, Lindros, Brodeur
Best hockey moments:
2004 playoffs, Philly vs Toronto: Darcy Tucker lays out a cheap shot on Sami Kapanen, who is aided by Primeau as he struggles to return to the bench. Cut to Roenick, beats Belfour glove side, and is mobbed by the team, ending the series.
2004- Flyers/Senators fight night: Brashear pounds Rob Ray, bloodying him before showing mercy and ending the fight. Two Sens jump Brashear, and a line brawl insues. Goalie Patrick Lalime joins the fray and fights Robert Esche. The Flyers completely dominate the first line brawl. More line brawls insue, with the Flyers winning a majority of the fights. Recchi wins an individual fight agianst an Ottowa "tough guy," followed by Patrick Sharp's clobbering of fellow rookie Jason Spezza. Martin Havlat, who had repeatedly high sticked Recchi and was the number one target of the Flyers, was allowed to sit in the box to serve for an ejected Ottowa player, avoiding on-ice justice. The Flyers soundly defeat the Sens both on the fight card and the scoreboard, winning 5-3 and breaking the record for PIMs.
