I hunt nine monthes out of the year and fish twelve. I have hunted in five countries and have taken five of the six big game species in Germany. Fishing i have fished probably in 10 countries both frsh water and salt dont get to do as much saltwater as i would like. my biggest fish caught on a rod is either a tarpon caught in puerto rico behind the bacardi factory in old san juan. In florida i caught a six foot spinner shark off crabby joes pier in daytona beach shores. Non traditional fishing meaning with big nets while draining a lake i have caught "wels" catfish in the neighborhood of two-hundred pounds and nine feet long. I manage eleven lakes and three streams for the army over here as well as organize hunts and assist folks get liscense's.

P.s i know i cant spell please dont remind me .

here in Alaska? Naaawwwww.. nothing to catch or shoot...

BTW, I'm having moose spaghetti right now...

Not much of a hunter, but I love to fish and do so as much as time and weather will permit. I generally fish in small/ medium sized streams for trout with either a fly rod or small spinning rod/ reel. I'm not too find of lake/ boat fishing but will go if invited. I like walking the streams and rivers, good excercise and generally makes for a peaceful/ relaxing experience.

Bow hunter here. Elk, when I can get a tag. Mule deer every year. I no longer do any rifle hunting and I don't get too much fishing done now that my 16 yo son is too cool to hang out with his old man.

Hunt and fish. Hunting here in So. Florida usually means I go elsewhere, but I spend most of my time fishing anyway. Much more of a spearfisherman (Hawaiian Sling, Pole and, very rarely, gun). But, have some nice boats that I take out to do some good-ol'rod/reel fishing as well, at least 3x a week.

How's this?

Yeah, I've been hunting and fishing all my life.

I fish 10 months of the year here in Northern Minnesota if the weather cooperates (sometimes the ice doesn't get thick enough soon enough after the lake freezes so we get a bit of a layoff). It's tricky in the early spring and early winter as the ice is either too thin to fish on safely or too thick to get the boat through. Nothing like a sunny 25 degree day in February out on the ice with my father in law. (Or a 75 degree day out on my boat in July)

I used to hunt quite a bit growing up in southern Indiana, but once my hunting buddy (grandpa) passed, I lost interest. I may go out and try to get a deer or two in a few years once my boy is old enough, but that's a ways off.

drunken fish don't count :p

Just got back from a duck hunt this morning... 12 birds are coming to dinner.

Just doesn't feel right shooting ducks in 80 degree weather. Its been so hot and dry here that the ducks are carrying their own Evian. ;)

What kind of ducks are there to hunt in Germany?
