Wishing I was as cool as Phil
I'm thinking about starting a pass once the cooler weather hits. Inspired by the "iPass and Vine" passes I've seen, I want to make it a reggae pass.
For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, it would be a normal pass, put and take your cigars, and then along with your cigars, you include an mp3 CD (or maybe put the music on an included flash drive) with some of your favorite reggae music on it. At the end of the pass, once the cigars and music are returned to me, I compile everything together and send out the vine part of the pass.
I would then send the music and some cigars (the PIF portion) to the first person on the pass list. They download the music, and send it off to the next person in line, along with their PIF. And it would go all the way down the line until all the participants got the music.
For those of you somewhat confused, here's an example:

As far as the music selection - anything reggae. From Dancehall (like Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks) to the Roots sounds of Bob Marley, Burning Spear, to the lover's rock sounds of Beres Hammond, Sanchez...it's all fair game. As long as it has the island sound, it's good to go.
So, if this sounds like something you'd be interested in, let me know here, please. If you're still new at this point, fear not. The 3 month rule does stand, but this probably won't get off the ground until October-ish. That gives you plenty of time to establish yourself as a fine, upstanding member of CP (please, don't start post-whoring or any other such nonsense).
