I was just wondering if anyone smokes any flavored cigars regularly? I know I know, they're all dog rockets... But has anyone found one they actually kind of liked? Just curious.
 
Regularly, no. But I have been know to smoke one (usually bourbon flavored) when I’ve had to much to drink and don’t want to waist a good cigar.

I can't bring myself to spend precious cigar smoking time on a flavored cigar. Oh, and they make me want to vomit. :D I am right behind Doc with my handful of rocks... :sign:
 
Not regularly. But occasionally, I enjoy the Java cigar. I think it's Drew Estates/Rocky Patel. That's the only flavored cigar I've tried that I like. There, I said it. I'll start trying to avoid the flying rocks now... :)

In answer to your question...No, I do not on a regular basis.

I do have on hand a supply of and will smoke, a DE Natural Root every once in a while as a change of pace cigar. I also have some DE Natural Dirts. I like the Roots and the Dirts. I recently acquired (was gifted) a box each of DE Acid Liquid and DE Acid Waif. I have smoked one Liquid so far. I have smoked worse cigars IMHO. I have not tried the Waif yet.

I don't have a problem admitting to what I smoke. To seriously criticize or chastise someone for smoking what they like regardless of the cigar goes against the true spirit of being a Brother of the Leaf.
 
I dont smoke flavored cigars on a regular basis, but I will grab one every once in a while.

I keep a decent supply of them on hand for friends, and I will usually try one or two of every kind just for a change of pace.

I had a CI Legend Copper (Drew Estates) the other day that I actually enjoyed once I got past the sickeningly sweet first inch. After that there were actual tobacco flavors that were pretty good. I just dont know that I could deal with the sweetness of that first inch again.

Sometimes I do like a small vanilla cigar with my morning coffee and paper when i dont feel like hassling with my pipe.
 
I wonder why anejos aren't considered "flavored". The tobacco is aged in cognac barrels. Are "flavored" cigars given their flavors by some other means?
 
I'm another that will admit to enjoying the Drew Estate Java. They're a nice change from time to time, and non-smokers around you will even comment on how nice they smell. I always try to keep 2 or 3 in the coolidor. Other than those, the "flavored" smokes are bitter and overwhelming. They kinda defeat the purpose of smoking a cigar. May as well just buy a Glade Plug-In instead.
 
Long ago, before I knew what a real cigar was, I tried one of those flavored things from White Owl. I think I would have been better off putting a flaming Jolly Rancher in my mouth.

Recently, I made the mistake of bidding on some Cojimar White Sage over on Cbid. I tried one and it was actually not all that bad. The flavor was pretty mild compared to that candy thing I remember. I got the others in a small tupperdor, but have yet to find the desire to smoke another.

I may smoke one again, but I think that for flavor, I may turn to my pipe when the mood hits me.
