I was just outside smoking a great stick while jamming to her first solo cd and wanted to know if I was the only fan at CP

Linda was the lead singer from 4 non Blondes if you can't place her...

She's ok. She always seemed to me to be trying to hard to be Exene Cervenka, something she could never, ever possibly achieve IMHO.

And, in that school, I kind of preferred Concrete Blonde.

Still can't beat X.

I agree that Concrete Blonde did more for me then 4 non blondes but I like The Graces from that time period too.

I haven't heard anybody mention The Graces in...well, since then actually. Kind of a fall-out from the Go-Go's, but with a little more rock to them.

I liked them too.

I had to get out my "Perfect View" CD and give it a spin after I posted about The Graces.

Is this the same Linda Perry that did knock me out with Grace Slick,
If so Im a big fan.

Yes it is, most of her career has been either writing songs for other artists or as a producer.

Her solo album In Flight is very good, pick up a copy I think you'll enjoy it.
