Guess what I got in the mail today? JURY DUTY notice... second guess- guess for when?

Yup- the week I was to be in St. Louis! CRAP. There is a feature on the card to reschedule for another time, but with my luck they'll do it for the time we're going to Mexico... Grrrrrrrrrrr...

I'll see what I can do... resceduling is the only option at this point- but I still need to look at finances, and time off from work to see if the reunion is something I should even attempt! It is purely a fun event for me - no real reason to attend otherwise.

BTW, the dates I am planning on being there would be the 14th-19th.

Brandon- I know about hormone rages- ask me sometime about the invitro Mary and I attempted TWICE, with hormone and fertility drup shots 3 times a day for a month... :0

update: i sent the jury notice in with a request for new dates, excluding my Mexico trip dates...

we'll see what happens. If it works I think I am definately going to St. Louis.

And you're right- the payoff will be worth it... didn't work for us despite the heroic effort, but that's ok... I got my doggies...

as soon as I hear anything, I'll let you know. 6 hours is a long drive, and I don't expect you to try too hard should I end up being able to make it. Would be great if you did (bring your tiara! :laugh: ) but no expectations on my end...

I am supposed to be on a golf outing in Michigan that weekend. We may have to do a make up game.

I am planning on trying to make at least part of the LOL again this year. Springfield is only 1.5 hours from STL at real highway speeds.

bit of a drive for you too, isn't it??

I now have approval from the boss (aka the wife) so all I'm waiting for is the change of dates for jury duty notice,and I'm there. Found out some of the guys at the reunion I've never met before so that's a plus.

My plan is to be there a few days early- probably leave the redeye flight on night of the 12th/morning of the 13th and fly back on the 18th sometime. Will that work for anyone? I'm a little flexible on times and such...
