I have done a couple of trades, purchases, passes with members of dubious distinction. I did not know their motives at the time. When they were called out on something, I stood up and offered this response, " I did a buy/pass/trade w/ this person, everything went smoothly and was legit." I didn't back the person over a deal as I didn't know anything about this persons character, except that he kept his end of the deal. Not my job to protect the person, just to state the facts. If enough people put up their facts, and it supports the guy, well evidence stands on it's own. Just my $.02. I know it wasn't asked for, and I don't mean it in a derogatory way. I wasjust using the opportunity to pass on a nugget of experience.

You may feel he owes you an apology, but I see the one he presented for opening his yapper in the 1st place valid. Hillbilly, Bill is right, if you are going to applogize, it needs to be in it's own seperate post w/o any qualifications or jabs.

I would ask that folks go back and re-read the box split thread from the beginning to see for themselves who escalated this beyond a rational discussion between respected members. Be sure to follow mingkou's link to the ISO Anejo thread when you get to that point.
