Yes, I am allowed but chose not to....

1.Don't want the girls exposed to it!

2.Don't care for the smell it leaves behind!

3.It pisses my dogs off. When they see the lighter in my hand they run for the door and when they realize that I'm headed outside to smoke they run right back in the house. You think they would catch on to the program and just stay in the house when I pick my lighter up. Smart animals???Not smart enough!!!

I smoked one in the house last week. No one was home all last week but me. I worried all week if the wife would come home and smell it. She didn't. Might try it again this week. She will be gone till Thursday night starting tomorrow.

I don't smoke in the house by my choice. There are 2 exceptions, one is New Years Eve and the other is my Birthday but even that is limited to the Family room.

Still live with the parents, so I don't smoke in the house. Even if I would, I don't think I'd choose to just out of respect for non-smokers ;)

Outside by necessity! Though I would do so anyways with two little ones running around the place. :D Winter time won't be so bad, there are cigar bars, VFW establishments, and other places that are easily accessible for myself and others whom I know. :D

Are you kiddin' ? Smoke in the house?
I can get a quick walk-thru, but other than that the "powers that be" and her two lil' understudies would have my head.

i live closer to santa than anyone else here...of course i smoke in my house.
for 7 months of the year smoking outside is not an option.boys are in college so its just the two of us...i light a cigar and wife opens windows.

i may also be nuts but i like the smell a cigar leaves...dont mind at all coming home and smelling my last cigar...lets me know it is my home.its only a few hours anyhoo...by then the wife has changed the air.

derrek :)

Almost always on the back porch.

I don't smoke when/if my son can see me doing so.

But I must say I really don't like smelling like smoke and wouldn't want my house smelling of it either.

Even when I smoked cigarettes it was always outside. Been off those for 12 years now and my mouth still waters when I see a box of Lucky Strikes.

Interesting saying here. What will you do when your son gets old enough to put 2 +2 together? ???

Well in the next few months (he's 22 months now), I won't feel right about taking him into cigar shops. The Coolidor is hidden well enough now; but I will soon put a lock on it because nicotine poisoning kills waay many more children each year than it should.

My boy tries to duplicate absolutely everything he sees me doing. I have no problem with him eventually picking up cigar smoking. In fact I would enjoy smoking cigars with him when he is old enough. What I don't want him to do is pick up smoking in his teenage years because that makes it VERY VERY hard to quit. I didn't start with cigarettes until college and it was still a bitch to quit.

If I suspect seeing me smoke is going to influence him to try it sooner than he should I will probably quit for awhile as much as it will pain me.

I smoke inside but only in the finished basement. I use a hepa filter and if there's a card game going, we turn on two hepa filters. The hepa filters work amazingly well. The finished basement is 26x30 so it's pretty big.

Before I had the hepa filters and we had a card game going with two to three guys smoking cigars for six hours, the basement would reek for a few days. You could slightly notice the smell upstairs for a day or two. The basement doesn't even have a door on the stairs leading to it. The hepa filters do indeed make a huge difference ;) you'd never know I smoke in the house.

I do 95% of my cigar smoking in the car and like dvickery said, I actually like the fact that my car smells like someone smokes cigars in it :p if the passengers don't like it, they can drive their own car :D

Winter is a tough time for a cigarsmoker in Finland. You aren't allowed to smoke in the student appartments, and who's gonna sit outside for a cigar when it's way below freezing temperatures? I guess winter is a good time for aging cigars ;) There are other places though, which are the only possibility.

Allowed? Bah. Tomorrow I intend to have beer(s), cigar(s), chips and remote in hand for six hours of football.

Being single has some advantages. :D
