Makes since Maggs. I use IcyHot after running three to five miles on the treadmill in the evenings. I think the feeling of "it's working" is more of a psychosomatic affect if anything else now. In the mean time, I'll just continue to use ice bags and heating pads to get the better effect. I don't have arthritis myself, just a bad back and a neck that has a pain in it, and no, it's not my wife.Maggs44 said:All of those creams only penetrate through the top layers of skin. One of the creams, capzasin, is nothing but the chemical in chili peppers that make them hot.
A heating pad is the way to actually heat up the muscle, tendon, cartledge etc.
Just a note from experience, if you use creams that make the skin hot, avoid going into the hot tub... boy, I made that mistake.![]()
Been there, done that! :0cigarsarge said:I'd be happy to spray anyone that has aches and pains with my pepper spray. It's made from the same thing as the creme. Who wants to go first?![]()
