As a new smoker, I have basically been taking down everything I get my hands on, trying to find the perfect cigar for my current tastes. Alas, I have found it. This morning I was cleaning up the kitchen while the ol' lady was at church and decided to take out one of the Asthon's I received the other day...oh man, what a wonderful smoke. Personally, I think its perfect. As a noob, I'll admit, I do like the flavored 'cigars', such as the Acid Atom and the cheap things my woman smokes. The Ashton was SO much better than anything I have had thus far, including anything scented, infused, flavored, or any other added gimmick. Pleasant aroma (sweet to my nostrils), awesome taste, again, sweet to my palate. It burned consistent down to the nub, getting even tastier right before I thought I might have to find a roach clip or something, ha. I'm not really one to judge the fullness of a cigar, but I would rate it as a mild to mild/medium blend. It did allow me to inhale a small puff, which I actually enjoy every 5 or 6 draws or so. I am going to finish up the rest of the sampler I put together before I pull the trigger, but I think my first box of cigars is in order here.
Just thought I'd share if any of you other noobs are looking for a great quality, top notch beginner cigar.
