...on the 11th day of the 11th mo., I'm going to light the biggest, baddest, best, non-communist cigar I've got, crack open a bottle of Jim Beam and get down right maudlin. Please feel free to join me. Maybe we can create a cloud of smoke so big they'll see it in Iraq.

Semper Fi,
Doc

No maudlin on my watch Sailor!

I will have a toast with you though.

I'm supposed to be in class tomorrow, but doubt i will make it. I maybe a freak, but when Nov 11th comes around, I like to have a day of relaxation since Veteran's Day is more important to me than X-mas.

I will join you for 2 reasons........

1) VETERANS DAY an d i support anyone who faught for our country and

2) BC ITS MY DAMN BIRTHDAY!

Right on. What better day to contemplate one's duty and call to service, no matter your chosen path?

Tonight's smoke will be both righteous and glorious!

 I did up a RP 1990 and a double dram of Blanton's

To my brothers in arms!!

I I can stay up that late, what the hell? I'll light one up as well! It'll be a virtual herf!

I'll be lighting one up here in Sweden.

Prayers and thanks to all you servicemen and veterans out there. Your sacrifice and service is appreciated throughout the world. There are so few in this world that have the 'nads and sense of duty to sacrifice yourselves for the greater good that it is more tragic when we lose one of you. From my family and I, our prayers, thoughts, and thanks are with you and yours.

edited for spelling so CC won't get on my ass.

I will break out the Crown Royal and a super bellicoso Opie, relax, silently thinking of those that gave all and those that are in harms way now.

A salute to all who have donned the uniform and served our great country.

My apologies.

I'll sacrifice some tobacco to the memory of those who serve(d) tomorrow in the 11th hour....and the 12th hour.....then probably on December 12th at noon as well.

Well it is the 23rd hour and I just saw this post and want the veterans (including my dad and grandfathers) to know I am "proud to be an American" and thank you. 23:00 is not too late.
