band or no band

I typically take them off. I nubb almaost every cigar I smoke, got blisters on my fingers to prove it :p

In the event I get ahold of one that the band is just too firmly attached to remove without damage to either band or gar, then I will smoke it for a bit to get the glue hot as mentioned previously.

I also save all my bands, I have about 1500 bands ranging from Philly Blunts all the way up to a '98 La Corona and a few ELs. When I get a chance to open my cigar shop (hopefully some day) then I will matt and frame the various brands of bands to display them in the shop.
