Bash the tobacco!!!

1. Acid's
2. Macanudo Hyde Park natural
3. curley head
4. Any flavored stick ie. CAO HONEY's
5. Jucy Lucy by natural
6. Don Thomas

I can't believe that people hate the onyx. I think they are great. I also like most of the upmann's(especially the torpedo). Don Diego does have some weak cigars but they have a new one in a maroon box that are full flavored and great. I have one la finca left in my humi and I will try it and maybe even do a review on it. I think this is a great post b/c you have saved me money that I would have spent on perdoma and Te-Amo. I've been wanting to try them and now I will save my $$.
Thanks

Man!! I fell for it to. I couldn't believe I was seeing a post from Smokin Tone.

I tend to be a little more lenient then others perhaps. No matter how bad a cigar seems to be I still can't help but think how much better it is still then the Swishers I used to puff on in college.

Having said that though a couple stand out from the rest.

Drew Estate Natural Egg - I love the naturals! Elixer 5-50, Green Hero's, I love these things. That Egg was such a looser though I couldn't believe it was from the same guys. My brother and I were each smoking one and his girlfriend just kept laughing at the look we had on our faces the whole time. I tried so hard to make it to the "Incredible Complexity" of the middle but I don't remember if I made it that far or not.

Don Thomas - I've had two of thease, a Candela and something they though was pretty special but I can't remeber the name now, and both were absolutly terrible. I tried so hard to tell myself they weren't that bad really, but they were.

Indian Tabac Horsepower 150 - I had a bro on the site here send them to me because he said they were the worst cigar ever and his description was so funny I just had to try them. They were bad, but not the outragiously weird and funny terrible I had built them up in my head to be, so I was disapointed on a couple of levels with them.

Perdomo Cuban Perejo - I love Perdomo cigars so I was so excited about these monsters. If Perdomo's are good, monster Perdomo's must be even better, right? Wrong! This ring guage monster took so much puffing and even then delivered way more air then smoke. What a let down. It was hard to even keep the thing burning. Perhaps just a bad one.

Finally, any cigar thats plugged. - I can deal with a lot of problems, but a plugged cigar just deflates my baloon more then a naked picture of Rosanne Bar. Even if you get it unpluged in some way, the thing is just never the same as it would have been if it had just been rolled correctly in the first place. Plugs are my enemy!!

Anyway, thats my list. It may seem short, but as lenient as I seem to always try to be, I'm suprised my list is even this long.

You know for those who don't like but have La Glorias and Onyx's in their humi's I can smell a trade coming on ;)

Sam
What I'd like to know is:

1 yr. 4 1/2 months later,is SamGuss still looking to trade for Onyx and LGC's? Or has he become a snob? Hmmmmmmm.....LMAO. :p

I know I went back and tried a Few of the LGC's adn found I actually liked them...
The ones I tried up untill that point where sic...

But its nice to see where I was at one time..

Thanks Beast.

I was going to post a few specific brands here buy Gibu hit it EXACTLY:
any cigar thats plugged
I tell ya, NOTHING ticks me off more than a plugged cigar, OUT THE WINDOW they go when I'd driving down the road, usually right after I break them in half first!!
Also:
Drew Estate Natural Egg
puke.gif

What a ridiculos cigar THAT was!! Whoever dreamed up the idea that you can actually smoke one of those things should either have his head examined or be congratulated for making me feel like a complete idiot for beleiving that nonsense!!

I've had many plugged cigars in my day, including a plugged RyJ Churchill Havana. So I throw a fit and stay away from those brands which is really kind of unfair because plugged cigars are just an unfortunate reality of cigar smoking, not a reason to boycott a particular brand (well, not usually anyway, I have YET to find a Don Mateo that is worth NOT throwing out the window)

And thanks Jeff for reminding me about SamGuss, I'll box up some LGC's an Onyx's for him and see if he'll trade me some of his VR's for them :sign:

I haven't had any of the cigars listed in this whole thread. Either I'm a smart shopper or too poor to buy 'em or both! :0

I have seen all the cigars I hate listed

!st off any cigar that is plugged I throw instantly I will wast NO MORE TIME trying to smoke a plugged cigar. Just NOT relaximg and defeats the purpose in my book.

2nd the Drew estates Jucy Lucy I think it's an acid line cigars. YUUUCK tasted like a cigarette.

3rd ANY mac, I hate macs. I have had ONE mac and could not find the point in smoking another one. Kinda like smoking a Marlboro ultra light.

4th Some will kill me but after recient expieriences I am gonna add Ghurka Masters select to this list. VERY BLAND

5th any flavored cigars. I WILL NEVER AGAIN smoke one of these, I shoulda never tried one in the first place as I knew I wouldnt be a fan from the get go.

There are many more I hate but I would start offending people right and left from here on out.

Phil

Phil are you sure it was a Master and not a Expedition, Expedition is mild then Grand Reserve ,Master Select , Royal Salute , Regent, and Legend in that order IMHO

those are the 4 that i can remember.
wow I like the only Aristoff I smoked (a black).

Didn't like the first Mayorga I smoked but liked the second one!

Have yet to try a la finca. I have to find out why everyone hates 'em so!
Hey Jonathan!

 Would it be in bad taste to bomb you with La Fincas so you could be let in on the terrible little secret?

If anyone wants a La Finca bomb, I'M YOUR MAN!
I will never turn down a free cigar! Bring 'em on!

BTW IMO, and in the opinion of most members, there is no such thing as a bomb in bad taste. You are taking the effort to package up and send some cigars to someone and it is pretty un-classy to complain about free cigars. Worst case scenario is the bombee fertilizes their garden with 'em or gives 'em away to moochers. No harm done. :)

Man that's really kicking you when you're down....disapointing you by not disappointing you enough. MAN!

I will add that I think the only decent cigars CAO makes are the flavored ones (not that I'm a huge fan but I'll smoke 'em) and I have heard good things about Joya de Nicaragua (have one in my humi to try out). Also how can you bash the Egg? That's a cool lookin cigar!

I had a Macanudo Robust I really hated. There's one other stick I really hated but I can't remember which it was. When I remember I'll post it.

Oh Man!! A tin of CAO Moontrace are perfect for at night out at the bar!!!
