American folk art in extreme, with a few French impressionist painting thrown in. http://www.shelburnemuseum.org

Let me put it this way: About 30 years ago, I made a list of the places that I wanted to see in the USA. The Shelburne Museum was in the top five. I wasn't disappointed.
