I have had some really good MUR ABR 11 and MUR JUN 11, but really bad MUR with other months… just not good enough across the board to make the list in my opinion…

The MUR from '11 were all from Sept.

Bill, what can make cigars a few months apart, at the same facility, be so different?

Many factors such as the tobacco used, the blends, the rollers, the weather and more. I have had boxes with the exact same box codes have dramatically different cigars in them… crazy stuff, but it all boils down to consistency. The best years and codes had the best cigars across the board…

Like I emphasized in my reviews, there will be one offs (or 2 or 3) but overall it’s about the entire year… And, again, this is the opinions of many people condensed into the reviews, but it’s definitely not science
