Bonds Indicted

ANYONE ...ANYONE ....faces long term prison time for Federal perjury.

The Fed's gave him a shot to clean the plate...and he made it more dirty.

I stand by my opinion that 30 years in prison is too steep when we consistently have murders and rapists getting off on only a few years in prison. Either way, I'm no Bonds fan, just a critic of our legal system.

I agree about the legal system, it's the biggest injustice of all. The difference between OJ and Bonds is that OJ's crime was against humanity and was therefore big enough to allow the race card to control the outcome.

Personally, I feel the drug augmented fireworks put on by Bonds and others have done far more damage to MLB than Pete Rose ever did. Natural talent has slowly been replaced by drug induced strength. The sad part is we are all responsible. At some point we the fans made it clear that offence and home runs were more important than defence and contact hitting.
