Well... Someone had to be first. So here we go:
Breckenridge High Proof Blend
Proof: 105
Nose: Caramel, brown sugar, vanilla
Palate: Dried fruit, brown sugar, oak, cinnamon
Finish: Dried fruit, orange peel and heavy on the oak. I would consider this a long finish. Sticks around for 30-40 seconds.
Price: I paid around $65 in MI.
Thoughts: I’m a big fan. It’s not the “highest proof” on the shelf but prepare for a big Kentucky hug. I prefer it neat, but I feel like this would hold up well to water/ice if you’re into that kind of thing.
