I was out looking for a new humidor or even a cooler yesterday with a friend of mine. We were at target looking at coolers (no success) when we decided to hit up the local B&M. I told him I'd probably end up buying another box of cigars instead of the humidor I needed. Long story short, I ended up with a box of butera and he ended up with a LFD Chisel. I told him it was the strongest cigar I was aware of, but he wanted to give it a go anyway. We got back to my place and got in the hot tub. As soon as he lit it up you could tell it was not your typical cigar. The smoke was thick and easily overpowered the smoke from my butera. He said he tasted horseradish. When he gave me a couple puffs, I tasted the horseradish, but I wouldn't label the flavor that specifically. I finished my butera, and then finished my rum. About 30 minutes later he finished the chisel. I expected him to be woozy, but if he was, he didn't let it show. Should I be impressed with my friend's tolerance, or did I buy into too much hype about the LFD Chisel?
