Large Collection of Swisher Sweets Cigars
Large Collection of Dutch Masters Cigars
Large Collection of Black Stone Cigars
Large Collection of Phillies Cigars
Large Collection of Black & Mild Cigars

...no wonder they are at auction...

Damn, how big is that place?

All sales are CASH ONLY - CASH IN HAND - LOL, can you just put this on my Visa, please?

Yeah, I saw the cash part. I do plan to be there. Who knows if the crowd will have any clue on the cigars. I just have these visions of 20 boxes of 46's in one lot. There are some nice sticks in 20-30 "case" lots. However, by how they listed the inventory, they have NO idea what they're dealing with.

I guess I read it as they were auctioning off the store and everything together. If it's a lot thing, yes I'd be there in a minute. I did read that they had some Diamond Crown and Don Carlos.

You read correctly. Store has already been up for lock stock and failed. It goes by the lot on Jan 23. Common cigar lots are 10-30 boxes and appear to be grouped by brand.

You never know though Bruce, it's worth going just to see what they have. Make sure to drag Matt/Jonas along, between the 3 of you, I'm betting you can get some good deals.

I'd be happy to plunk down some cash to any of you if you if there's Fuente to be had.

This was a well stocked B&M that was seized for taxes. I don't know if the owner(s) made it out the door with the Anejos under his arm or not. I don't know who has been shepherding the collection, if at all. I will be there on the 23rd to see. Matt is trying to find out if there will be a pre inspection. I'll keep yall posted.

The good news is that this was a tax seizure. That means some dude with a badge, showed up and escorted everyone off the property, locked it up pending auction. The bad news is that its a low level auction - no more than one hour preinspection and no absentee bidding. Terms are cash on the barrelhead, of which I have little available. Lots including cigars will be at least 10 boxes up to maybe 30 or more. Thanks to all who PM'd me offering to GB, but I'm not comfortable taking cash against something that may not even be there. I will take pictures, because this should at minimum be entertaining.

That sounds like it will definitely be interesting. Hopefully you can get some good deals, I like the sounds of the Fuente account.

Picture 81 made me laugh, there are 3000 boxes of Zig-Zag rolling papers

It says at the bottom of the page that visa and mastercard are accepted with a 3.5% premium. I think the cash in hand part is for a total buyout. It says, also at the bottom, that there will first be a gross buyout bidding, and then everything will be auctioned in lots, and whichever total is higher is what ends up happening, so you could win bids on different lots and then end up getting screwed because somebody bought everything. At least that's how I read it.

edit:
Arturo Fuente 30 cases
Arturo Fuente Don Carlos 14 cases
Coronado by La Flor 17 cases
La Flor Dominicana 43 cases

Could be interesting.

Looks like there is some nice cigars in there, as well as in the stock room. I see VSG, DCM, and LFD among other goodies. I'm sure you're bound to find several little treasures that day Bruce. Just depends on who shows up that day as far as how good the deals will be. Wish that was close by here.

I read the same thing, it has become one of the accepted ways of auctioning and is very popular in farm sales from my personal experience.
