Candy Cane Martini!

Just was introduced to a GREAT holiday martini, called the Candy Cane Martini..

Fill martini glass with crushed ice to chill.

Fill martini shaker with ice cubes and add:

1 1/2 oz. GOOD Vodka (Grey Goose, VOX, etc.)
1 oz. Creme de Cacao (clear)
1 oz. Peppermint Schnapps.

Shake well - empty crushed ice out of glass - fill the martini glass with mix - garnish with candy cane stick (it's really cool after a bit as the candy cane melts and turns the bottom of the martini a reddish color).

Enjoy!!! (but not too much, more than two and you'll be introduced to the floor!!!)

A fairly common variation is to skip the Creme de Cacao and use a shot of club soda instead.
