CAO Vision

I have to agree, Criollo sucks. Though I only smoked one and had enough so maybe I got a bad one or something. But I have to say one of the worst cigars I have ever tried. Brazilia Amazon is the best of the CAO line IMO. I still think that I would rather spend the same amount of money on a Padron Maduro or something like that.

I saw an advertisement for these online. Looks like they are sticking to what they know making cigars look fancy and not taste good. ;)

The packaging and marketing looks cheesy to me.

Finally someone is making some sense to me!

I hate the CAO market branding. Ugh.

The only nice thing they do is limit some of their cigar lines to B&M retailers (Sopranos, maybe just oneo f their cigar lines), which is a great gesture for a newer company looking for shelf space.

If you want to try a serious dog rocket, spark up a Criollo!

No kidding. I had a Criollo last week and it was nasty. Only smoked about a quarter of it, and I couldn't take anymore. Tasted like a drugstore cigar.

I just saw a bunch of flashing lights, and all of a sudden I felt dirty. Like I was brain washed or something. I remember lots of smoke and for some reason I somewhat remember a travel humidor with led lights inside of it. Where have I been the past five minutes. Man I am confused.

CAO Brazilia and Italia are OK. This company is def making its business through marketing more than anything. And to be honest I am not sure if the lates ploy will take off as it is probably aimed at the younger fashion concious consumer. Just by definition these people are very iffy as long time customers and more of let me try the latest hottest thing type of people. So if anything they might score somepoints early on but I doubt it will stick in the long run.

That being said I might try one of these just to see how this one compares to others being their first Dominican smoke. Any idea of the pricing yet?

I typically keep a box of Brazilia Gol and Italia Gondola on hand. Aside from those two I don't have much interest in the brand. I wouldn't mind trying the Vision but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Seems like they care more what the box looks like than the cigar itself after watching that video.

I don't know just me being an a$$. I do that from time to time :)

LMAO @ Xav!

Don't we all, brotha, don't we all! Some of us just hate to admit it!

Okay... back on topic....

I love the Brazilia Gol. None of the other CAOs have done it for me. Some are just downright nasty.

Lets put it this way. If CAO had just put up a single page no flash ad that read:

The NEW CAO Vision.
Wrapper: Dominican
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican, Brazilian,Nicaraguan.

What would the opinion of this cigar been?
Look at what its made of!!!
I'm very interested to TASTE the cigar.
Take the rest for what it is, Advertising :D

note: judging by the looks of that box this will be a very expensive stick :0

edit cuz i cant spell
