Casa Fuente

The Sangria there is awesome and it is a very comfortable place to enjoy a cigar, don't miss it.

I should be down for the CES too in Jan if you want to try and get together for a smoke.

Kevin

What I'd give to be in Vegas walking around different casino floors with a stogie right now. I think I might need to check flights out to Vegas soon.

There is no casa fuente. This sounds like a bunch of TOM! foolery to me. You've been warned. :0

The wife and I love stopping a "people watching" at Casa Fuente. I'd suggest you just be a good guest at Casa Fuente, and they'll treat you like royalty. You can smoke what you have/want - I've not gotten any flak for smoking something other than Fuente products. I've got to imagine they're pretty flexible, as long as whatever you're smoking doesn't stink the place up.

As far as drinks - it's like any other lounge you'd go to. Good manners would be to not sit in their area, smoke your own cigars and ask them to provide you free drinking water. That's just plain rude. Besides - as others have pointed out - their Mojito's are top notch! And I really do enjoy their coffee's and other non-alcoholic drinks. A tad bit pricey (well worth it - it's all top-shelf stuff), but not necessarily a budget killer.

Smoking in other areas of Vegas? Vegas still strikes me as the one place you can do pretty much whatever you'd like to do (within reason). I have not see any decrease in the amount of smokers in the lounges and casinos. I do very much appreciate how well they do air handling in the strip casino's (for the most part) - as I do not usually come back to the hotel smelling like an ashtray.

Personally - I've gotten very little resistance from anyone in the casino's or on the walks around the strip. I believe it's primarily due to my not trying to blow my cigar smoke into anyone's face (I save that for the cigarette chimney chain smokers!). I've only once had a casino employee (a cashier) ask me to put down my cigar. In her case - she did point out a "No Smoking" sign that she'd posted in front of her cage that I had missed. She seemed awfully sensitive (because I was not blowing smoke into her cage), but whe was very polite when she told me that employees of the casino have the right to designate their area as "non-smoking".

I've not lingered around the lobbies of the hotel with a cigar, so I couldn't tell you if they are off limits. But I'm also very certain staff will politely tell you what the rules are, if they need to be "enforced". I can't imagine anyone being "kicked out" of anywhere for smoking a cigar, as long as they were respectful of the message.

George come down first weekend of February and I got your mojito (and maybe a dried out white owl)

The mojitos are pretty good there. The best I've had was LCDH in Cancun. I love when you enter the mall all you can smell is the cigars.

Say hello to Vanya for me when you get there. I didn't get a chance to get over to CF this past weekend.
It has been reported that Vanya is no longer employed there...and, as a result, the eye candy is a little on the flat side, just sayin.

I hope that my above statement is not true about Vanya. Great girl.

Very tempting!!! I have a free stay coming at Red Rock and February is an awfully good month to get out of Chicago. :whistling:

Momma's talking about a cruise somewhere in that timeframe - I suspect I'll not sway her from that with an offer of a Mojito and cigar at Casa Fuente. :(

I did not see that Vanya was not there the last time I was in - but there was still no shortage of eye candy otherwise!

Thank you, PJ!

Danny,

When are you going next?

David,

Why is a sports guy going to CES??

CES is an phenomenal show, Technology is a hobby of mine, "sports is the air I breath". A buddy of mine works during the CES so he offered my one buddy and myself to come with him and he will give us free passes and free hotel at the Wynn, only think out of our pocket is flight, Gambling, food and the AEE (

). I am excited, I tend to stay on the south end of the strip, this time I will be up on the north end so it will be a lot of fun. No Joke, Vegas is in my top 3 favorite, places to go of all time.

Danny,

When are you going next?

Hey, Sean..long time

Given my new work load, it may be several months until I get back out there. I resigned from Farmers on Nov 30 and now have to work on building a new agency focused on commercial insurance only. in addition to that, I started a business consulting company and in addition to that opened a convenience store/ gift shop at a local airport. In my spare time between 2 and 3am, I try to sleep :)
