Chateau Fuente

These are excellent cigars and a great value. Unfortunately there are many tobacconists who keep their humdiors way too wet, 70 percent and higher. The sungrown wrappers on these cigars are thick and oily. If they are over humidified they will burn badly and make the cigar taste bitter. They need to be stored at 60-64 percent for a couple of months if you are getting them wet. Once they have dried out they should smoke to perfection.

In comparison to the Padron regular line, it is comparing apples to oranges. The Padron is a Nicaraguan puro where as the Chateau is a Dominican blend. Both are excellent smokes but two completely different flavor profiles.

Definitely another vote for the maduros and the sungrowns. Both just taste amazing, and I usually smoke them right off the shelf.

What is the difference between the Chateau Fuente and the Fuente that is basically the same size with no cedar? Both are very good. I want to send a thanks to Master for pointing out the over-humidification problems with them. I have had a few that were bitter and I now know that I didnt give them enough time in my home humidor.

Like em so much I picked up a box of Maduros today from my local B&M. Can't wait to try one right out of the box!
