When we played golf last weekend there was a monetary penalty for those that used golf clichés, like "It opens up down there" or "all good putts don't go in" or the ever popular Yogi Berra line "99.9% of putts left short don't go in". They are not false, but sometimes overused.

I know there are similar cigar clichés but I was just wondering what are your favorites........

I'll start...."Should be good with a little age"..........
............."Nice silky, oily wrapper"..........

Well..............I know there are more.....

If this was posted before I appologize.

just found a pallet or pallets in the warehouse that were over looked for ten years. such a deal! :p

About 10 puffs in this cigar turned to straight sweaty ass with overtones of dingleberry.

(my personal favorite from beheny describing a helix maduro)

I also like..."I have friend whose (insert any relative) lives in Cuba and sent me these (insert any popular brand)".

This is great stuff!

"hints of leather"

I mean, c'mon!! How many of us here have consciously tasted leather? and if so, I don't want to know the circumstances surrounding actually tasting leather!

I like this one:
hints of, "meat, mushrooms, and iodine."
It really made me want to try that cigar...
