I am pleased to report that after 1.5 weeks, I am now back to my regularly scheduled program.
Since it was a bit of a one-off evening weather-wise, the patio was calling my name. Mrs. Morcerf claimed she knew what was coming because I "had that look in my eye." So I went downstairs to the cooler & settled on my cigar - a peaceful smoke for a peaceful evening. I then picked up my cutter & 2 lighters from the knickknack cabinet in the kitchen & put them in my pocket. Next I filled my water & took it out on the patio, then came back in & poured a glass of cold chocolate milk. After I picked up some jelly beans (not taking any chances from now on), I was ready to begin. This hobby is becoming more & more of a ritual.
It ended up a little cooler than I would have liked but it was so still & peaceful compared to the gales we have had as of late. Since there was no wind, it was hypnotizing to watch the undulating smoke gently curl & wave to me as it was leaving the cigar, as if to say, "Thank you kind sir, for setting me free. In return for your good deed, I shall grant you a pleasant & relaxing evening."
