Cigar Lounge

MiM

Churchills of Birmingham (Detroit Area), last I knew, offered their clubs in the $250 to $400 range. Only the $400 option had the locker though. I swung through the shop back in '03, though, so things may have changed.

It sounds to be within the MI standards so, like others said, if the price is in your range and the hours make it available enough to be of use then go for it. Now you'll just have to buy more cigars to make maximum use of the discounts and get your money back.

Albuquerque just enacted a law eliminating smoking indoors, other than tobacco stores or cigar clubs/lounges. In checking in the local B/M today the new members only lounge I found the following info.

I found this thread using search and saw the last post was over 7 months ago, so wanted to see if any others also might have additional input regarding local prices etc.

$360 annual + private humi/locker extra $120. Very nice atmosphere, English club setting, card talble leather chairs, dart board, free wifi, reasonable priced snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, large screen TV. Members only events, socials, 5% off retail prices, etc., etc. You can also bring 4 guests per month. Open 9am to 9pm, later for NFL football.

Nice part is you can stock your locker with your own and also with adult beverages.

My problem is I don't know if I would get enough use to justify the cost.

You can also sign up at the same costs by the month. So I may try it out during the winter months, so I won't freeze to death this winter.

We have a private club in Fairfield, NJ, about 18 miles from NYC. Members have 24/7 access to 4200 sq ft of space. 410/yr includes a large humidified locker for cigars and adult beverages.

Large lounge areas, wifi, voip phone, 42" plasmas, poker tables, pool table, darts and other table games. Small galley area with commercial ice machine, microwave, toaster oven, coffee, soda machine, snack machine and espresso.

We have a minimum billing of 20/month and max of 50/month based on 5.00 daily entry. We have 150 members and growing. We do not sell tobacco or adult beverages. Only soft drinks and snacks. We have 9 commercial electrostatic smoke handlers.

We have no employees. Members take care of the place and we do have a cleaning crew in once per month.

Monthly catered dinners with cigar or liquor reps.

While there are several B&M's around, including JR's, they are small and do not offer 24/7 access.

$400 is steep. The local lounge is $150 for membership including discounts and access to VIP lounge. $50 more for a locker for the year if available. They franscised to the next county where I moved my locker to. Price there is $200 for Lounge access/discounts and $50 for the locker for the year.

The new lounge is the largest/nicest in the state as far as I know and the Macanado rep said it is in her top three in the nation.
