This keeps arriving in my mailbox like a bad penny. Since I don't think they're gonna be collectors items, I'll send one to the first 2 folks to reply to this thread.

Frankly, I like it. Compared to CA, it really does seem to be aimed at cigar smokers more than lifestyle junkies. Each issue has had a long article about important cigar families, which only rarely appeared in CA.

The only think I miss is the articles about the Cuban industry, but maybe they'll get around to that, too.

Anyhoo, let me know. :)

Both issues I had are spoken for, even though the posts are missing. :(

I got a 2nd one today also (the one with Nestor Plasencia on the cover), I dumped it in the trash can in my apts lobby. The 10 great petite coronas is a nice article / review.

Dang, what happened to my post?! It was here yesterday... ah well... enjoy the mags, guys!

They bill themselves as the cigar magazine for all cigar smokers. Their introductory issue had a great article on tobacco store Indians and gave a good history on it. I also read the piece about how hand-rolled cigar smokers are in the minority and they had some interesting statistics regarding that. Ditto psyktek's comments about tobacco family articles. They don't have expensive wine or vehicle ads that most of us will never drink or sit in in our whole lifetime, they also seem to have more cigar related information than CA does. I'm thinking of subscribing to it myself. :D A definite  IMHO.

I enjoyed the magazine too! I sent a couple of the first issues out. The guy that wrote the article about the "Cigar Store Indians" actually owns the local cigar shop I hang out at. Lets see where the magazine goes.....

I received a second and a third "complimentary" copy yesterday eve! I will be donating my two extra's to the troops via Smitty. If anyone else would like to do the same, I'm sure they would appreciate some fine reading material to take away from all of the stress. Here is a link to his site for those that don't already know.
Operation From the Heart

I got a chance to meet Bill yesterday since he won the cigarpool and I delivered some sticks personally. Great guy, he gets to smoke cigars AT WORK!

I think his next shipment goes out on the 15th of Feb.
