Cigar Pass Championship Bowl Series

Oh, why the hell are you taking the SBC Cotton Bowl. You a Texas fan or a Nebraska fan? If you truly were a Nebraska fan, you'd at least take the chance that they will play in the Champs Sports Bowl. Ya damn sissy :sign:
 
Not being the greatest sports fan in the world (read: barely understands the rules :D )
I still think that Utah may surprise whatever team they come up against.

The current spread against BYU for tomorrow's game is 21.5. Alex Smith has been amazing, and the team hasn't been plagued by injuries this season. There's a lot to be said for attitude and Urban Meyer has really energized these guys.

Well, we shall see. Hey, Greg, start looking around for some nice sticks for me, OK?

Hey, while I think of it, there was some talk on the sports pages that Utah might get an invite to a bowl other than Fiesta. If that happens, and they go elsewhere, am I still stuck with Fiesta? :(
 
Hardy-har-har there bfreebern!. You're right though, I guess that would be the one that they would have to go to. I'll be sure and change that one for sure so that at a minimum, I can root for a north division team.

No psyk, you requested to have your team, so I would have you follow them and someone else would get booted to a different bowl if it came down to it. :)

Hey Bob, I've got your rockets fermenting in the back yard right now. Can't wait for the Utes to play a real team, unlike the Running(and hiding) Rebels of UNLV. ;)

I absolutely loathe BYU. :sneaky: :sneaky: I remember that they were pretty good throughout the 90s with the likes of Ty Detmer and other good qbs. I'd always root for Air Force or Wyoming to take them out, but often times, the 'Pokes wouldn't quite come through. I've been loving seeing them struggle the last couple of years. Now if only Wyoming can get it's act together. :thumbs: The Utes look pretty tough, should be a great Fiesta bowl!!.

This is important to know because fans who want to follow "their" team have an obviously different level of commitment to the game than someone who just wants the #2 spot in the Fiesta bowl or what have you. I quote my reply to psyktek because although I don't know how to word it, my response to his concern is the best one that I can muster as of yet. I doubt this will become an issue, but just to anticipate. :)
 
Wanted to get this thing Topped. Since the Pac 10 has lost Cal in the Rose, I guess I'm stuck with Texas against Michigan!!! Too bad for me... :D

This will be a laugher. Shame it came to this. Why not Auburn? Two undefeated teams. At least Auburn would have a chance :rolleyes:

What's with this Pittsburgh thing? Did I miss something? ??? ??? ??? Who wants Pittsburgh? Will add more bowls when I get home today.
