They are $60.00 each.(yes people have bought quite a few).

At one point we were at a total of 18 facings on Padron ani's.
We are lucky to have a great relationship with the Padron family.

Uhhhhh... You guys have heard of "bloom" right?

Yes but that is definitely mold on the head of the milleniums. ;)

I'd have to say mold too...Anyone remember the pics of Andrews Opus from the early 90's???? Now that was some bloom/plume.

Without being there it's impossible to know, but I don't know of anything else that is white, fuzzy, splotchy, and tends to form on cigars.

Unless I'm wrong,
the "bad" mold grows near the cap (top) of the cigar and is white and fuzzy.

It's pretty dang tough (or atleast I haven't yet) found padron annies, so I'd be willing to give smoke them with a little "peach fuzz" on them lol.

isn't plume a type of mold? ???

funny thing this mold question. seems that during an event at our store this summer the vice president of major cigar company (not padron) looked at them in the case and said hed love to smoke one of those(with mold) babies. obviously at that time it would have been totally inappropriate. so who knows ???

No, plume/bloom is when chemicals in the tobacco actually precipitate out of solution, or seep out of the tobacco, to form tiny crystals on the surface of the cigar, that are like dust.

bloom/plume tends to be uniform over the whol cigar, rather then concentrated on one spot.

(AFAIK)

I think you're gonna have to take one for the team and let us know first hand what it tastes like ;)

Yeah but he works for the shop--we would need an uninterested third party examine said sticks for a true opinion. I have someone in mind but I don't know if he would appreciate me mentioning his name.
