befor you put them on you tree turn the eye hole(the part that the string will go in) 90 degrees. that way when they hang the band will face the viewer.

Great idea and job. i was thinking that the brazilia looked darker but then i assumed that it was the camera/lighting thing. Sweet Job

Aw crap! I put the eye hooks that way intentionally thinking they were orientated correctly. Guess I have to stop at the shop tomorrow and fix them all. Thanks!

That is a great idea way to go!

If I was even remotely handy I would attempt togive it a go but, with my wood shop deficencies I am far better of just admiring yours then having to us one of these cigarnaments as a prosthetic finger that I would undoubtably loose trying to make them.

Great idea! Will you share some info on them? Like dowel size, stain color, and what tool you used to round the ends?
