We are the FIRST cigar forum to be encrypted. You will now notice the your connection to the forum is Secure. This means any traffic which is transmitted is encrypted, and safe.

Woohoo! Does this mean anyone who has a birthday posts their credit card digits so we can all buy a sampler on them? ;)

Good thing my birthday already passed!

But in reality, what does the https do for the forum?

Most importantly, it secures your credentials. So, when you login and type in your password, no one can see it.

Yay!

Does that make this our secret hideout now?

Ever since the update I get certificate errors on my work computer. Also blocks more things then it used to.

Mac - No issues here. Didn't even notice the encryption until I read this.

Great work keeping the terrorists from winning, Rod.

Can you post some screenshots?
If it comes up again I can try. It is most likely my company's internet programs. The warning I do get at times is that the security certificate is registered to a different website.

That's odd. Try clearing your cache perhaps.

Will do when I get back tomorrow and let you know if it occurs again. Thanks.
