Just kicking back on a Friday night smoking a RyJ Ex #4 and listening to some Blue Mitchell jazz. Nothing better than some good music and a smoke on a cold friday night! So what music do you listen to when you fire one up?

B.B., SRV, Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Albert King, Allman Bros., Skynyrd, Jimi Hendirx

Stuff like that

Poncho Sanchez, Celia Cruz, Compay Segundo, Tito Puente, Arturo Sandoval, Paulito, Abriam Ferrer, and lots more of good Salsa, Latin Jazz, & afro-cuban music.

Depends upon the mood. I could easily pop in an '80s hairband like Def Leppard and have a great time. I also like some heavy stuff like Alice in Chains. On the mellower side, I'd take Norah Jones or Bob Dylan. As long as my old-@$$ brother in law doesn't pop in some weird 70's greatest hits thing, I'm good to go. :p Don't believe Randyb1, he's all into Outkast and Wu-Tang Clan. :D

I like to listen to jazz these days. Other days, it's 50 cent and snoop dogg.

You're a bit younger than me. I just can't enjoy a good cigar while listening to "drop it like it's hot" I can understand listening to Jazz. I guess for me, smoking a cigar is like a Zen-meditation experience. Studying the smoke, wrapper, and identifying different flavors. I'll have to lighten up more and check out 'ol Snoop.

Just put on Poncho's Conga Blue, haven't listened to it in quite a while but great stuff. I think I'm going to have to pick up some more latin jazz

LOL! I will listen almost to anything and tend to listen to the more mellow music when puffing on a smoke. When I smoke with my father we to listen to oldies but goodies.

What's the deal Leebo?

Once you achieve FOG status, are you only allowed to listen to a bunch of dead guys when smoking cigars? ???

I listen to the music of nature. Outdoors sounds as they come. Birds preferred but this is a strange region here, not many birds singing at all. But all the visual treats are music for the eye, so I'm enjoying these hours very much.
